Preclinical Pharmacokinetics Scientist

About the role

Are you passionate about advancing science and making a meaningful impact on patients' lives? We are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative Preclinical Pharmacokinetics Scientist to support discovery and optimization of innovative drug candidates. In this laboratory‑based role you will provide expertise in pharmacokinetics, pharmacology, drug metabolism and translational sciences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, conduct, analyse, interpret and report preclinical PK, PK/PD and toxicokinetic studies in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
• Evaluate ADME properties and pharmacokinetic characteristics of small molecules, antibodies, ADCs and cell therapies.
• Act as DMPK subject‑matter expert in multidisciplinary drug discovery projects and support key research areas such as immuno‑oncology and pain.
• Oversee in‑vivo PK studies performed at external laboratories and CRO partners, preparing protocols and reports.
• Drive continuous development of DMPK technologies, digitalisation and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• PhD or PharmD in Pharmacology, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field, or MSc with 4–5 years relevant experience.
• Authorization and hands‑on experience to design and conduct animal studies.
• Strong scientific writing, documentation and presentation skills in English.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude with ability to manage priorities in a multidisciplinary environment.

Required skills

• Pharmacokinetic modelling and simulation approaches.
• In‑vivo PK/PD and toxicokinetic study design and execution.
• Experience managing outsourced studies with CROs.
• Data analysis and implementation of digitalisation or automation solutions in DMPK research.
