Material Planner Specialist (Logistics & Supply Chain)

About the role

As a Material Planner Specialist you will ensure continuous material availability for AGCO’s production lines in Suolahti. You will coordinate supply, prevent shortages, and keep inventory within target levels to support both productivity and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively coordinate supply and logistics activities, including delivery communication, shipment rescheduling, and express freight bookings.
• Maintain material master data, implement new parts, and generate shortage reports.
• Manage relationships with 25‑60 suppliers, overseeing the timely supply of 300‑1,500 material numbers.
• Monitor supplier performance and take preventive actions to avoid disruptions.
• Support production and customer delivery by ensuring the right materials are available at the right time.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in logistics, transport or supply chain.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Finnish is an advantage.
• Strong pressure resistance and good negotiation, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
