Marketing & Communications Specialist – Marine Propulsion

About the role

As a Marketing & Communications Specialist for the Global Business Line Marine Propulsion, you will help build the worldwide position of ABB’s Marine & Ports division. Working from the Vuosaari site in Helsinki, you will collaborate with the Business Line’s marketing manager and cross‑functional teams to deliver effective marketing and communication initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of marketing and communications plans, budgets and analytics for specific projects.
• Develop key messages, visuals and marketing materials that address customer challenges and communicate ABB’s value proposition.
• Create content such as success stories, case studies and technical solution materials.
• Plan and implement targeted campaigns using digital marketing, media relations, conferences and customer events.
• Support press releases and other media activities to enhance visibility.
• Contribute to internal communications, including town halls and employee engagement platforms.
• Collaborate with global Marketing & Communications and Sales colleagues while representing the Marine Propulsion Business Line.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience delivering impactful marketing and communications initiatives, preferably in an international environment.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including creative agencies.
• Solid project‑management skills and experience leading cross‑functional communication efforts.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
