Lead Security Engineer

About the role

RELEX Solutions is seeking a Lead Security Engineer to head its cyber detection and response efforts across a complex, multi‑cloud and SaaS environment. You will guide the security team, work with an outsourced SOC, and leverage AI‑driven signal analysis to protect the company’s digital estate.

Key responsibilities

• Lead detection and response across endpoints, clouds, SaaS services, and software supply chains.
• Design and implement custom tripwires, canary tokens, decoys, and threat‑intel feeds.
• Own major security incidents, stepping in when automation and SOC coverage are insufficient.
• Collaborate with AI tools for log analysis and enhance detection capabilities.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience leading security incident response.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Defender and Sentinel.
• Familiarity with CNAPP solutions such as Wiz.
• Up‑to‑date understanding of emerging threats and common TTPs.
• Solid grasp of software development processes.
• Ability to coach less experienced team members (no formal people‑management required).
