IT Systems & Architecture Lead

About the role

Supermetrics is looking for an IT Systems & Architecture Lead to shape the next‑generation infrastructure that supports AI agents across the business. You will work at the intersection of architecture, security and AI, partnering with product, security and BizOps teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve the master map of every system and application, including ownership, cost and renewal dates.
• Partner with Security to define Zero Trust, ZTNA, SSO and IAM standards and contribute to SOC 2 evidence.
• Work with the Systems Specialist on the integration layer between n8n, the SaaS stack and AI agents.
• Step in early when a business team proposes a risky solution and guide them toward a secure, scalable alternative.

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on experience designing API architectures (REST, webhooks, event‑driven, OAuth, SAML).
• Experience integrating large language models (Claude, OpenAI or equivalents) at an architectural level.
• Proficiency in Python and Go, and familiarity with automation platforms such as n8n or Make.
• Strong knowledge of security architecture fundamentals: Zero Trust, ZTNA, SSO, IAM.
• NHIA mindset – thinking company‑wide, collaborating across teams and building for maintainability and scale.
