IT Strategy Manager (Helsinki)

About the role

BCG Platinion is seeking an experienced manager to lead digital and IT strategy projects for Nordic clients. Based in Helsinki, you will collaborate with BCG teams and client stakeholders to turn digital visions into concrete, high‑impact solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead national and international client projects, structuring work and planning resources.
• Develop, present and implement IT strategies, concepts and technology solutions.
• Manage project business aspects, including budgeting, quality assurance and operational delivery.
• Build trusted relationships with client decision‑makers and act as their primary advisor.
• Identify, acquire and drive new consulting engagements for the firm.

Required profile

• Degree in computer science, informatics or a related field with above‑average grades.
• At least eight years of substantive IT consulting experience, including design and delivery of IT strategy projects.
• Proven leadership of teams of five or more members.
• Ability to plan initiatives, build solid business cases and steer decisions toward goals.
• Demonstrated success in winning consulting projects.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
