Insurance Analyst – Claims & Risk Management

About the role

Ayvens is looking for an analytical and customer-focused Insurance Analyst to strengthen its insurance team. The role combines claims analysis, consulting on customers' risk management and supporting business results so that customers reduce losses, improve safety and optimise insurance costs. The position is based in Vantaa.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor claims development, changes in the loss ratio and the profitability of the insurance portfolio
• Identify trends, new risks and opportunities and turn analyses into practical recommendations for customers and internal stakeholders
• Produce reports, analyses and dashboards to support business decisions
• Prepare customer-specific risk-reduction recommendations and support preventive measures
• Review claims and profitability together with customers and give risk-management advice
• Act as an expert in motor insurance and risk management in client meetings, tenders, renewals and other consultations
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and insurance partners on reporting, processes and performance

Required profile

• Higher education degree in insurance, risk management, economics, finance, business administration, statistics or a similar field
• Previous experience in insurance, claims handling, risk consulting or a similar analytical role is valued
• Commercial mindset and understanding of what drives insurance profitability
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to work independently and handle several tasks at once
• Fluent Finnish and English
