HW Test Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on HW Test Engineer to join OiTec’s Tampere office. In this position you will contribute to the design and implementation of electronics and electrical test systems, and play a key part in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges for customer projects and existing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain hardware test setups and related electronic circuits.
• Design electrical schematics and layout for test equipment.
• Perform debugging and troubleshooting of hardware issues in customer projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and customers to identify requirements and deliver solutions.
• Document test procedures, results and technical findings.

Required profile

• Practical problem‑solving mindset with a passion for hands‑on hardware work.
• Strong communication skills to work closely with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an on‑site environment.
