HR Operations & Payroll Specialist, Nordic

About the role

KONE's People & Communications team is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Nordic HR Operations & Payroll Specialist to join in Espoo, Finland or Stockholm, Sweden. The role covers Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway and reports to the Nordic People and Communications Manager. It acts as the main interface with the outsourced payroll provider, ensuring accurate payroll execution, data integrity, compliance and efficient people administration.

Key responsibilities

• Payroll governance and vendor management: own the end-to-end outsourced payroll delivery, manage relationships with external payroll providers and ensure service quality and SLA compliance
• Coordinate monthly payroll processes, approvals and sign-offs, and ensure compliance with local legislation, collective agreements and company policies
• Produce payroll analytics and reporting
• Manage employee lifecycle administration from onboarding to offboarding
• Support managers and employees with HR-related queries
• Ensure high-quality employee data and documentation

Required profile

• Several years of experience in payroll, HR operations or shared services
• Proven experience managing and partnering with outsourced payroll providers across Nordic countries
• Strong understanding of Nordic payroll processes and employment legislation
• Fluency in English, Swedish and Finnish
