Freelance Video Editor – UGC Ads Specialist

About the role

We're not looking for someone who makes things look pretty. We're looking for someone who makes things perform. As a Freelance Video Editor at Shook Digital, you'll turn raw creator footage into scroll‑stopping UGC ads, iterating fast, remixing creatively, and leveraging AI tools to ship winning assets.

Key responsibilities

• Edit raw creator footage into polished, script‑accurate UGC ads that retain a native, platform‑first feel for TikTok.
• Review ad performance data and iterate cuts quickly, swapping hooks, recutting bodies, and testing new CTAs.
• Repurpose winning assets into fresh variants by combining hooks, bodies, and CTAs to build a modular library for testing.
• Utilize AI tools for localisation, dubbing, and lip‑sync workflows, scaling these processes across languages.

Required profile

• Strong TikTok‑native editing instincts, knowing how to capture a hook in the first two seconds.
• Ability to turn around multiple cuts rapidly without sacrificing quality.
• Performance‑driven mindset: edits must deliver results, not just look good.
• Fluency with AI tools such as ElevenLabs or equivalent for dubbing and lip‑sync.
• Modular thinking to edit hook, body, and CTA as interchangeable components.
• Self‑sufficient execution: understand briefs, ask the right questions once, and deliver without constant follow‑up.

Required skills

• ElevenLabs (or equivalent AI dubbing and lip‑sync tool)
