Executive Chef (Keittiömestari)

About the role

Ravintola Laituri is looking for an experienced Executive Chef to lead the kitchen in its vibrant Espoo location. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality lunch service and premium corporate catering while ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team as a strong, exemplary manager.
• Prepare delicious lunch dishes and high‑end catering menus.
• Design lunch and catering menus and manage food‑order procurement.
• Control food waste responsibly and maintain ingredient quality.
• Oversee staff, customer satisfaction, and overall kitchen performance.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for excellent customer service and tasty food.
• Creative, systematic, and efficient in food preparation.
• Strong leadership and organisational abilities.
• Relevant culinary education and experience in similar roles.
• Ability to handle demanding, high‑level catering events.
• Flexibility to take on various restaurant tasks and thrive under pressure.

Required skills

• Fluent Finnish language.
• Fluent English language.
• Solid IT/system knowledge for kitchen management tools.

• Competitive salary €3,500‑€3,800 per month, based on experience.
