Electrical Supervisor / Commissioning Engineer – Energy and Data Centre Projects

About the role

Tekniq, an international consulting, recruitment and resource management company active in the energy, marine and industrial sectors, is recruiting Electrical Site Supervisors and/or Commissioning Engineers for its project teams across Finland. The work centres on complex electrical installations, commissioning and site operations for energy, industrial and data centre developments, from greenfield projects to expansions and modernisations. Most of the time is spent on project sites, so travel across Finland is required.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installation work and ensure high-quality execution on site
• Monitor installation progress and give technical guidance to contractors
• Support and coordinate commissioning of electrical and automation systems
• Coordinate testing, inspection and measurement activities
• Review technical documentation, electrical drawings and engineering plans
• Prepare and maintain installation and commissioning documentation
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and project stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards and project requirements

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or another relevant technical discipline
• Experience with electrical systems and installations in industrial, power generation, energy or infrastructure environments
• Willingness to travel and work on project sites across Finland
• Proactive, structured and solution-oriented approach; strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic Finnish and good English; Swedish is an advantage

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, technical plans and documentation
• Advantage: site supervision, installation management or commissioning experience
• Advantage: experience in energy, industrial, infrastructure or data centre projects
• Advantage: modern project and engineering software tools
