Electrical Design Engineer, Harnesses & Electrical Components

About the role

Join us in shaping the next generation of power conversion solutions. As an Electrical Design Engineer you will develop wiring harness architectures and select electrical components to turn system requirements into reliable, manufacturable, and cost-effective designs.

Key responsibilities

• Design wiring harness architectures and interconnection solutions that support reliable and efficient product performance.
• Specify electrical and electro-mechanical components that meet technical, quality, and cost requirements.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, technical specifications, and product release data to enable smooth development and manufacturing.
• Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and testing to evaluate concepts and solve design challenges.
• Support prototyping, testing, and industrialisation activities to bring new products to market.

Required profile

• Experience with electrical design, wiring harness design, electro-mechanical components, or industrial product development.
• Knowledge of electrical components, interconnection technologies, and engineering documentation practices.
• Familiarity with engineering tools such as EPLAN, Siemens NX Routing, SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, Capital, Teamcenter, SAP, or similar solutions.
• Ability to plan and execute design tasks independently while working effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Clear communication skills in English and a structured approach to problem-solving.
