Document Controller

About the role

Mercury, a European leader in construction solutions, is seeking a Document Controller to join its Helsinki team. You will support complex engineering and construction projects by ensuring accurate and timely handling of project documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Distribute documents and drawings to project personnel in line with company procedures.
• Receive, quality‑check, and return quarantined documents for correction.
• Manage the document control software, provide training, and maintain controlled document registers.
• Administer BIM ACC licences and company entries.
• Produce reports for project managers, clients, and business intelligence.
• Enter data into SAP, run SAP reports and queries.

Required profile

• Strong administration experience.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to liaise with and manage all site paperwork.
• Excellent telephone manner and attention to detail.
• Capability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Pride in the quality and presentation of work.
