Director, Terrestrial Network Equipment Manufacturers Vertical

About the role

Keysight is seeking a commercially grounded, technically fluent segment leader to shape and scale its global strategy for Terrestrial Network Equipment Manufacturers (NEMs). The Director will operate at the intersection of 5G/6G network infrastructure, open RAN, AI‑RAN and private networks, translating market shifts into actionable portfolio plans.

Key responsibilities

• Define a 12‑to‑36‑month NEM segment view, covering investment priorities, ecosystem shifts, standards evolution and validation needs.
• Drive measurable segment growth through order, revenue, gross‑margin improvement and strategic‑account penetration.
• Prioritize use‑case maps across O‑RAN, AI‑RAN, 5G Advanced, 6G research, energy efficiency, cloud‑native core, RIC, automation and chipset‑to‑system validation.
• Build trusted relationships with senior executives, R&D leaders and key decision‑makers at top NEMs.
• Clarify Keysight’s winning positions in RAN/core validation, interoperability testing, and lab‑to‑field correlation.

Required profile

• 15+ years in wireless, telecommunications, network infrastructure or test‑and‑measurement fields.
• Proven experience with terrestrial network equipment manufacturers, including product strategy, system integration or technology strategy.
• Executive presence and technical fluency to engage senior customer leaders and deep engineering experts.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of 5G, 5G Advanced and emerging 6G technologies.
• Expertise in RF, protocol, RAN, core network and validation workflows.
• Experience with O‑RAN, AI‑RAN, chipset‑to‑system validation and interoperability testing.
