Designer

About the role

MacGregor is seeking a Designer to own the development and maintenance of 3D design models for its Cargo Stowage Solutions business line. The role is based in Kaarina, Finland, and will work closely with R&D experts to create parametric and configurable models that support innovative maritime and offshore products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain parametric and configurable 3D design models for cargo stowage solutions.
• Create and improve 3D design automation tools based on R&D outcomes.
• Collect user feedback, arrange training, and provide support for design tool users.
• Collaborate with experts to update standard components and structures.
• Participate in broader engineering environment development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience with 3D design tools.
• Strong understanding of 3D modelling technologies and mechanical systems.
• Attention to detail and quality‑focused work ethic.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• 3D modelling (parametric design).
