Deployment Strategist – Public Sector, Nonprofit & Education

About the role

Salesforce is hiring Deployment Strategists to lead AI‑enabled projects for government, nonprofit and education customers. You will act as a customer‑facing advisor, shaping AI strategy, overseeing deployments and ensuring measurable adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end engagements across the value lifecycle (Identify → Commit → Deploy → Consume).
• Define AI strategy and roadmap, run design workshops and architect solutions using Salesforce Agentic AI, Data Cloud and enterprise systems.
• Manage delivery timelines, stakeholder communication, risk escalation and progress reporting.
• Own adoption and consumption metrics, identify blockers and drive value realization.
• Coordinate with Forward Deployed Engineers to align strategy with technical execution.
• Assess AI readiness, guide change management and provide product feedback to influence the platform roadmap.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years experience in strategic solutioning, technical advisory or delivery leadership for enterprise cloud/SaaS.
• Proven delivery experience in public sector, higher education or nonprofit environments.
• Demonstrated understanding of the Salesforce platform, Agentic AI and Data Cloud.
• Strong project and program management skills, able to run multiple work‑streams.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
