Construction Manager – Civil & Structural (CSA)

About the role

Enersense Engineering seeks an experienced CSA Construction Manager to lead the civil and structural aspects of a major data‑centre project in Helsinki. You will ensure safe, high‑quality, and efficient delivery of large‑scale construction activities, coordinating closely with project managers, HSE teams and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate civil, structural and architectural (CSA) work packages, focusing on civil and structural scope.
• Lead site safety initiatives in partnership with the Project Manager and HSE team.
• Plan and monitor procurement, design, engineering and installation activities for civil works.
• Develop and maintain detailed short‑term (4‑12 week) look‑ahead programmes and site planning.
• Manage subcontractor performance, progress and productivity against schedule.
• Review design information, identify constructability issues and ensure alignment with approved designs and contractual requirements.
• Support commercial teams with scope definition, subcontract package development and variation management.
• Oversee project close‑out activities, including punch lists, QA files, safety files and handover documentation.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in civil and structural construction management on large‑scale projects.
• Proven track record delivering data‑centre, infrastructure or complex industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, programming and site logistics.
• Experience managing subcontractors and internal site teams.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Fluent English communication skills.
