Compensation & Benefits Analyst

About the role

Sampo Group is seeking an Analyst to join its Compensation & Benefits team in Helsinki. You will work with data‑driven analysis, reporting and market insights on key compensation topics, supporting the Group’s strategic allocation of compensation resources.

Key responsibilities

• Provide data‑driven analysis, reporting and market insights for fixed pay, equal pay, pay transparency and executive compensation.
• Conduct salary benchmarking, compensation surveys and monitor market practices.
• Transform compensation data into actionable recommendations for C&B, management and other stakeholders.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings to discuss findings and provide analytical input.
• Improve C&B analytics by enhancing data workflows and exploring AI‑based tools.
• Contribute to broader C&B development projects as part of the team.

Required profile

• Relevant Master’s degree (e.g., economics or another quantitative field) or final‑stage studies.
• Entry‑level work experience in analytical, data‑heavy roles.
• Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of statistics.
• Good English communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with conceptual thinking.
• Motivation to develop professionally in compensation & benefits.
