Campus Security Manager - Datacenter

About the role

Securitas, Finland's leading security services company, is looking for a Campus Security Manager in Helsinki. The CSM leads a team of site security personnel (site managers, field training officers and security officers) and is accountable for physical security services at one or more datacenters in a geographic area. The role reports directly to the regional security manager and involves travel of about 10% of the time.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage physical security operations across multiple critical infrastructure facilities, ensuring a safe, consistent and effective security program.
• Manage and develop site security personnel, partnering with local branch leadership on recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching and performance management.
• Prioritise safety and implement safety programs aimed at zero workplace injuries.
• Plan, assign and oversee physical security projects and daily tasks, evaluate site security programs and recommend improvements.
• Set standards for customer service and professional communication, and hold site teams accountable.
• Monitor site health and key performance indicators, support unannounced audits and strengthen team performance.
• Engage with clients and Securitas leadership through account reviews, security planning and assessments, and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Spend time across assigned sites to stay operationally aware and continuously improve the physical security program.

Required profile

• At least four years of experience in the security industry, including four years in a management role.
• An associate degree in Security Management, Business Management or a related field.
• Ability to speak, read and write Finnish and English proficiently, and the legal right to work in Finland.
• Reliable means of communication and reliable transport to and from work.
• Valid passport, as the role involves travel; nights and weekends may be required for high-priority events and off-hours incidents.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Preferred: experience in a datacenter environment, knowledge of CCTV, access control systems, incident management platforms and video surveillance software, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and professional security certifications such as CPP or PSP.
