Business Director - Public & Security team

About the role

Futurice is looking for a Business Director to join its Nordic Public & Security team. You will lead business development in the defence and national security sectors while also expanding into the broader Nordic public sector, including ministries, agencies and cities.

Key responsibilities

• Scale Futurice’s footprint in defence and security and open new market doors.
• Manage a portfolio of new prospects and established accounts across the public sector.
• Lead high‑stakes negotiations and complex sales cycles, articulating the value of data, AI and digital transformation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Strengthen strategic relationships and foster a collaborative team culture.

Required profile

• Proven success in business development and account management within the Nordic technology and digital consulting market.
• Existing network and experience in defence and security, plus deep knowledge of the Finnish public sector and procurement processes.
• Ability to navigate complex sales, lead negotiations and communicate the impact of data and AI.
• Systematic, self‑driven approach with resilience in ambiguous environments.
• Eligibility for a standard Finnish security clearance.
• Fluency in business English and Finnish; Swedish is a strong plus.
