Business Developer – Defence & National Security

About the role

DNV is seeking a driven Business Developer to join its National Security & Defence (NSD) team in Finland. You will be at the forefront of expanding DNV’s presence in the rapidly evolving defence and security sector, working with public authorities and private leaders across sea, land, air, space and cyberspace.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and win new business opportunities, opening new logos across the national security ecosystem.
• Own a select portfolio of key accounts, developing long‑term partnerships and ensuring stable growth.
• Collaborate closely with sales, delivery and industry teams to translate customer needs into high‑value solutions.
• Act as a bridge between client requirements and DNV’s cybersecurity and digital‑trust services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development or account management, preferably within cybersecurity or defence.
• Background in IT or cybersecurity with a strong commercial mindset.
• Motivated, hands‑on attitude and willingness to work hard together with the team.
• Ability to build trust with customers and internal stakeholders in complex environments.
