Business Controller

About the role

The Business Controller, Vianor will act as a senior finance business partner for Vianor leadership, delivering financial insight, analysis and challenge to drive performance, profitability and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive financial support, challenge and insights to Vianor business leadership and country organisations.
• Lead analysis of performance across sales, margin, cost, operating profit, working capital and cash flow.
• Own and coordinate financial planning processes, including monthly estimates, annual budgeting and long‑range planning.
• Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and continuously improve reporting quality and visualization.
• Support investment decisions, expansion initiatives and M&A activities with robust financial analysis and business case modelling.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, planning practices, reporting tools and analytical methods.
• Support governance, internal cost allocation, inventory follow‑up and audit processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting or economics.
• Solid experience in business controlling, financial planning and analysis in an international, multi‑entity environment.
• Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, working capital and profitability drivers.
• Proven ability to act as a business partner to senior stakeholders and translate analysis into practical recommendations.
• Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English.
