Business Controller

About the role

Volvo CE is looking for a Business Controller to join its Finance team in Vantaa, Finland. The role provides business insights and financial analysis to support decision‑making, drive performance and improve processes.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure P&L reporting accuracy according to Volvo Group standards and internal KPI reporting.
• Prepare high‑quality rolling forecasts and investment business cases, and follow up on their execution.
• Monitor fixed‑costs and business‑unit cost performance, delivering monthly reviews and proposals for profit improvement.
• Participate in IT implementation projects to guarantee reporting requirements are met.
• Act as backup for finance colleagues during month‑end closing and serve as the business conscience together with the CFO.

Required profile

• Minimum MBA or MSc in Economics.
• Solid experience in Business Controlling for international companies.
• Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English; Swedish is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Power BI or other BI tools.
• Strong IT background with ERP system knowledge.
