Business Controller, Business Excellence

About the role

The Business Controller for Business Excellence will enhance operational performance across Hiab’s equipment supply chain by designing, leading and implementing group‑wide process development initiatives. Acting as a finance business partner, the role ensures robust KPI tracking, consolidates operational financial insights and supports factory management teams in understanding financial levers.

Key responsibilities

• Define, harmonise and develop global management accounting, data and reporting processes for equipment supply chain and manufacturing operations.
• Establish and maintain a unified set of operational and financial KPIs across all units and deliver clear consolidated insights to group management.
• Coach operational and factory teams on financial metrics, drive harmonisation of finance processes across manufacturing locations, and ensure robust financial follow‑up for all business excellence projects.
• Represent finance expertise in ad‑hoc initiatives such as location assessments, benchmarking, major capex projects and other business excellence programmes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business, Economics or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a global environment developing manufacturing/operations business control processes.
• Proven ability to lead and influence cross‑functional virtual teams without direct reporting lines.
• Strong presentation, communication and networking skills, with a self‑motivated attitude toward continuous professional development.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Workspace, MS Office, SAP and EPM applications.
• Experience with OneStream (plus).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (advantage).
