Business Analyst Trainee

About the role

Konecranes is looking for a Business Analyst Trainee to join its Strategy team in Espoo on a one-year fixed-term contract. The trainee supports the team in gathering and summarising information and preparing materials that support management decision-making. The role suits a student of industrial engineering or business management who wants to gain experience in business analysis and strategy in an international setting.

Key responsibilities

• Create presentations and management materials by gathering and summarising information on different business topics
• Assist with data analysis and reporting for strategy work and ongoing projects
• Support strategy and strategic projects, including topics related to artificial intelligence
• Contribute to market intelligence activities and prepare a weekly newsletter
• Work with colleagues and stakeholders across different teams and business areas

Required profile

• Ongoing master's studies in Industrial Engineering, Business Management or a related field
• Curiosity, proactivity, good teamwork and ability to adapt to new topics
• Good English and confidence in an international environment
• Basic understanding of project management, data analysis and management reporting from studies or previous work
• Interest in geopolitics and artificial intelligence

Required skills

• Good Microsoft Office skills
• Good written and spoken English
• Familiarity with SharePoint or Power BI and similar experience is an advantage
