Banking Data Consultant

About the role

Accenture Banking Technology Unit is looking for Banking Data Consultants of all levels to join its client engagements in Helsinki. The consultant works in highly collaborative cross-border teams, helping clients succeed in transformation initiatives with a strong focus on technology, system development and technical delivery. The detailed work description depends on the engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure technical transformation is aligned with business goals and processes
• Act as a banking data expert in client engagements
• Solve problems, analyse issues and apply functional expertise

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from a technical or business school
• Ideally at least 3 years of experience in banking doing data-related work
• Strong business acumen and technical knowledge of banking data models and sources, with a business view of data
• Experience with legacy data warehousing, data lakes or modern cloud solutions; Databricks experience is a benefit
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Finnish and English
• Resident in Finland

Required skills

• Use of AI-assisted productivity tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot or similar GenAI solutions for analysis, documentation, requirements management, testing or delivery
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Entrepreneurial attitude and good interpersonal skills
