Avionics Verification Technician

About the role

ICEYE is looking for an Avionics Verification Technician to join its Global Manufacturing Organization in Espoo, Finland. Working in a cleanroom environment, you will ensure that every printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) meets the highest quality standards before moving to the next production stage.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual, electrical, and mechanical tests on electronic and mechanical parts, COTS items, and subsystems.
• Update material status in ERP and MES systems and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Report non‑conformances, support root‑cause analysis, and help implement corrective actions.
• Inspect SMT and through‑hole assemblies according to IPC‑A‑610 standards.
• Flash firmware and bootloaders onto microcontrollers, troubleshoot test failures, and identify component, soldering, or fixture issues.
• Carry out minor rework on non‑conforming boards to keep production flowing.
• Ensure inspection tools and equipment are calibrated and maintained.

Required profile

• Experience working with electronic board assemblies in a manufacturing or test environment.
• Familiarity with cleanroom and ESD‑sensitive handling procedures.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate records.
