Word and PDF Expert (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are seeking experienced Word and PDF experts to support high‑impact document projects for regulated industries. This remote contract position focuses on delivering precise editing, formatting, and data‑extraction services while ensuring compliance with client‑specific standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive review, editing, and formatting of Word and PDF files.
• Manage tracked changes, comments, and version control across large, complex documents.
• Create, edit, and populate dynamic forms and templates for professional use.
• Extract and consolidate data from Word and PDF sources accurately.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver confidential document solutions on schedule.
• Implement and enforce document workflows for legal, regulatory, and compliance projects.
• Train stakeholders on advanced Word and PDF functionalities and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of intensive experience with Word and PDF tools in a professional setting.
• Advanced proficiency in document formatting, tracked changes, and markup.
• Master’s, PhD, or JD in a related field (law, healthcare, academia, public policy, finance) preferred.
• Experience supporting Fortune 500 or similarly regulated clients.
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
• Self‑motivated and effective in a remote, deadline‑driven environment.
