Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

GE Healthcare Finland Oy is seeking a technical expert to design, implement, and maintain the continuous integration and infrastructure for a medical device software development pipeline. You will work on cutting‑edge health technologies, ensuring reliability, scalability and security of our solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.
• Manage and optimise infrastructure provisioning, configuration and monitoring.
• Develop infrastructure‑as‑code solutions with Ansible and Terraform.
• Automate deployments, testing and operational tasks to improve efficiency.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with development, QA and operations teams to establish best practices.
• Implement security best practices within the DevOps pipeline.
• Mentor junior engineers and evaluate new tools and technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE or similar roles.
• Experience in regulated or healthcare environments is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• CI/CD tools: GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code: Ansible, Terraform.
• Linux systems (Ubuntu/Debian, OpenSuse).
• Scripting languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
• Containerisation: Docker, Kubernetes, Podman.
• Monitoring & logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
• Networking concepts, LDAP, VPN, firewalls/routers.
