Cloud Platform Engineer

About the role

Vincit is looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to join its Commerce team. You will work across a diverse portfolio of digital commerce customers, combining hands‑on cloud engineering with problem‑solving and close collaboration with development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, automate and improve scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS and/or GCP.
• Maintain environments through upgrades, patches, migrations and rapid incident response.
• Support development teams to ensure platforms are reliable, secure, observable and developer‑friendly.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK or similar tools.
• Manage cloud security, permissions and access controls.
• Enhance monitoring, performance and observability to identify bottlenecks.
• Contribute technical expertise to solution design, pre‑sales discussions and cost estimates.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Proven ability to design, operate and develop cloud environments, including networking, security and automation.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ownership of production issues.
• Excellent communication in English; Finnish is a plus.
