Suppliers & Outsourcing Project Lead

About the role

Eaton is looking for a highly driven Suppliers & Outsourcing Project Lead to support its rapidly growing manufacturing organization at the new Vantaa campus. You will develop and manage supplier and outsourcing strategies that enable scalable, cost‑efficient, high‑quality production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute supplier and outsourcing strategies aligned with company growth plans.
• Onboard new suppliers and contract manufacturers, building strong relationships and monitoring performance.
• Lead make‑or‑buy analyses and define outsourcing frameworks using a gate‑model approach.
• Manage transitions of production between in‑house and external partners, ensuring knowledge transfer and industrialization.
• Lead cross‑functional projects, coordinating engineering, operations, procurement and quality teams.
• Identify supply risks, implement mitigation strategies and drive performance improvements through KPIs.
• Drive cost‑reduction initiatives and support long‑term capacity planning with suppliers.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in project management, preferably in outsourcing and procurement.
• Academic background (Master or Bachelor) in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
• Strong analytical, organizational and stakeholder‑management skills.
