Quality Lead – Marine

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Quality Lead to join our Marine Business Unit. You will drive the quality culture, ensure projects and processes meet the highest standards, and support continuous improvement across our global marine operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quality management activities within the Marine Business Unit.
• Maintain and develop processes aligned with ISO 9001 principles and company requirements.
• Support project teams in quality planning, assurance, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor project quality performance through KPIs, audits, lessons learned, and corrective actions.
• Facilitate root‑cause analyses and improvement initiatives.
• Perform internal and external audits and support supplier and partner quality management.
• Promote a quality culture and share best practices across teams.
• Collaborate with business leaders to enhance operational efficiency and project delivery.
• Work closely with the Elomatic Corporate Quality Team to ensure alignment of quality practices.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering, technology, quality management or a related field.
• Proven experience in quality management, quality assurance and operational excellence within project‑based engineering environments.
• Good understanding of ISO 9001; knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and/or ISO 27001 is an advantage.
• Strong planning, problem‑solving abilities and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Fluent communication skills in Finnish and English.
• Willingness to travel globally on occasion.
