Onsite Support Engineer – OSS

About the role

The OSS Engineer provides onsite End‑User Services and production‑site IT/OT support to ensure stable, secure and uninterrupted business and manufacturing operations. Acting as the local IT representative, the role delivers hands‑on assistance for end‑user devices, production workstations and IoT/OT equipment while coordinating with infrastructure, application, automation and third‑party vendor teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite IT contact for business users and production teams.
• Deliver deskside support for Windows workstations, laptops, mobile devices and tablets.
• Perform Install, Move, Add, Change and Decommission (IMACD) of user devices and peripherals.
• Support Microsoft Office and standard corporate applications.
• Manage hardware lifecycle activities, asset tracking and inventory.
• Participate in major incident resolution and business continuity activities.
• Provide first‑line support for production workstations, manufacturing execution systems (MES) and related interfaces.
• Troubleshoot IoT devices, sensors, cameras, gateways and edge equipment, verifying power, cabling and network connectivity.
• Assist automation and third‑party vendors during production system maintenance.
• Coordinate with OT, automation, network, security and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.

Required profile

• Hands‑on technical support experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
