Lead Mobile App Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Mobile App Developer to own and drive the development of high‑quality Android and iOS applications used by customers worldwide. Based in Finland and working in a remote, product‑focused environment, you will combine hands‑on engineering with technical leadership to shape the future of our mobile portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced mobile applications for Android and iOS.
• Define technical strategy, architecture, and development practices to ensure scalable, reliable, high‑performance solutions.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor team members.
• Collaborate with designers, product owners, and UI/UX teams to deliver intuitive, platform‑compliant experiences.
• Integrate external data sources, APIs, and third‑party services into mobile apps.
• Write and maintain robust unit tests and monitor live application performance.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues, continuously optimizing code.
• Stay current with emerging mobile technologies and promote a culture of engineering excellence.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional mobile application development experience.
• Proven leadership abilities and experience guiding cross‑functional teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for delivering high‑quality products.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
