Freelance Full-Stack Web App Developer

About the role

Mindrift is seeking experienced full‑stack developers to work on the Tendem project, building interactive browser‑based applications for real‑world use cases. This part‑time remote freelance role lets you design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end web products, from habit trackers and budgeting tools to internal dashboards and AI‑powered apps.

Key responsibilities

• Develop interactive web applications using modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue or similar).
• Build backend APIs with Python (FastAPI, Flask) or Node.js (Express).
• Design data models and persistence layers using SQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQLite) or NoSQL stores.
• Implement authentication, session handling, and basic role‑based access control.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and AI/LLM services such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
• Handle state management, input validation, error and loading states.
• Create standalone Python scripts for data processing, API clients, or lightweight backend utilities.
• Review, debug, optimise, and refactor code to improve security, performance, and maintainability.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of hands‑on full‑stack development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and ship production‑ready features.
