Director, Business Area – Environment & Health

About the role

Ramboll Finland is seeking a Director of Business Area for its Environment and Health division. You will own the business’s performance, shape strategic focus, and translate global priorities into a clear local direction.

Key responsibilities

• Stay close to the market and clients, understanding current needs and long‑term drivers.
• Build a focused pipeline, selecting opportunities that deliver commercial, technical and quality value.
• Connect colleagues across service lines and geographies to spark innovation and new client solutions.

Required profile

• Solid commercial experience with full P&L responsibility for a business generating approximately €35 million in revenue.
• Proven people‑leadership capabilities, able to engage, develop and align a large expert team.
• Ability to make decisions in a complex matrix organization and collaborate across functions.
• Fluency in both English and Finnish, spoken and written, to build strong internal and client relationships.
• Comfort engaging with technical experts in the specialized Environment & Health field.
