Senior UX/UI Artist - Clash Royale

About the role

Supercell is looking for an experienced and passionate Senior UX/UI Artist to join the Clash Royale team. This is a hands-on, high-impact art role focused on creating polished UI art and intuitive user flows for a live mobile game, working closely with artists and game designers. The position is based in the Helsinki office, where most of the Clash Royale team and key stakeholders are located.

Key responsibilities

• Create high-quality UI screens, elements and assets for a live mobile game.
• Create polished UI animations and motion treatments that make the interface feel responsive and alive.
• Work with designers to turn wireframes, flows and feature designs into production-ready UI.
• Design and map out complete user flows for new game modes and features.
• Collaborate with developers so UI assets and animations are implemented correctly and efficiently.
• Maintain and evolve the game's UI visual language while respecting the art direction.
• Improve the quality, consistency and readability of existing UI and contribute ideas to improve the player experience.
• Build and maintain reusable UI components, visual standards and production practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design or game art, in fast-paced, agile live-game or production environments.
• A strong portfolio showing polished UI art, craft, readability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a small team, organise your own work and drive features forward.
• Ability to adapt to an existing art direction and work with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration, communication skills and passion for mobile games.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Photoshop or similar 2D art production tools.
• Experience with animation tools, or willingness to learn Adobe Animate / Flash and other tools in the UI production pipeline.
• Nice to have: familiarity with live-game environments, Clash Royale, Adobe Animate / Flash, 3D software, LiveOps UI, UI style guides and component libraries, and AI-assisted tools.
